We Understand Georgia's Publishing Laws
Georgia requires corporations, both for profit and non-profit, to publish information about themselves when they are first established. These publishing requirements only apply to domestic entities (companies originally formed in Georgia), and do not apply to companies from another state that are requesting authorization to conduct business in Georgia. There are also publishing regulations surrounding the filing of corporate amendments, as well as the dissolution of a corporation. In addition, Georgia mandates the publication of legal notices whenever an individual or company establishes a trade name. TS Associates staff strictly adheres to the policies and guidelines for legal publishing as determined by the Georgia Secretary of State (GA SOS). Per GA laws, - "All corporations must publish a notice of intent to incorporate in the newspaper which is the legal organ of the county where the initial registered office of the corporation is to be located." - Georgia Secretary of State website
